Alice Cooper performs “Black Juju” during the Midsummer Rock Festival on June 13, 1970 at Crosley Field in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Cooper claims Pink Floyd as an early influence on his music and it certainly can be seen in this video, which has never been officially released on VHS or DVD.
At the 4 minute mark watch as Cooper gets hit by an upside-down pineapple cake.
some of this show was aired live on national TV, with performances by Alice, Iggy and the Stooges, Mountain and Traffic. Iggy cut his chest up with a shard of glass. Now THAT’S entertainment.

Oh please stop with the utterly clueless bullshit.
You fail Rock 101. Iggy did no such fucking thing. He did smear his chest with peanut butter though.
I saw him around this time for 50 cents at a lakeside pavilion in Michigan. He ripped the pages out of a phone book with his teeth and was spitting into the crowd. Eeeeeasy Action!

Great, another moron heard from.
Let me spell it out for you:
Iggy did not cut his chest up with a shard of glass at The Cincinnati Pop Festival (as “tonle sapp” clearly implied). Period.
That picture is from a 1973 gig at The Whisky A Go Go in CALIFORNIA which was not televised.
Yes, Iggy cut his chest sometimes, grabbed girls in the audience by the hair, vomited on stage etc.
He didn’t do these things at EVERY SINGLE GIG. Idiots.

I believe that Grand Funk Railroad opened with “Inside Looking Out” on the televised broadcast.
