Something deeply silly from Buck Rogers in the 25th Century, which ran on U.S. TV from 1979-1981. Evidently the disco music of 400 years from now will be a sort of fusion of The Residents and Weather Report. I never would have guessed !

When I was a kid this is what I expected music in 2010 to be like.

Having studied the video closely, it’s my considered opinion that the ‘band’ are miming.

Shocking.

some of that music sounds like a Theramin.

It was more of Alan Parsons playing DEVO, at least to my ears. The only reason to watch the show was Erin Grey.
