Aphex Twin uses live interactive face mapping on audience

Wow! This is pretty crazy, unexpected and a wee bit creepy. Watch.

At this weekend London Electronic Festival (LED) Aphex Twin used live facial recognition to map the audience and overlay images of his own, trademark distorted face. Mesmerising and disturbing in equal measure!

Oddly enough, his is always the first name that is mentioned when trying to sound in any way knowledgeable about electronic music. Funny that.

somehow this fun and clever gimmick is about the same level of projecting a ghost next to you on the Haunted Mansion ride @ Disney World.

too bad, because RDJ once was @ the forefront of doing some interesting things.
