Early Marc Bolan: Jasper C. Debussy (X-rated version)
One of my top favorite Marc Bolan songs, the criminally obscure “Jasper C Debussy” from The Beginnings of Doves album, a 1974 LP that collected together material recorded much earlier in his career (when he was still with John’s Children). The version on that album clipped out a bit of how Bolan actually introduces the song, but when the CD came out it was added back. This song never gets old for me. Listen to it below:
