From 2004, Johnny Cash: The Last Great American was the first major TV retrospective of the singer’s life and times. Featuring contributions from his daughter Rosanne Cash and son John Carter Cash, longtime manager Lou Robin, and fellow musicians, Little Richard, Cowboy Jack Clement, Kris Kristofferson, Merle Haggard and Elvis Costello. This documentary contains incredible archive and some superb performances, and is a fine testament to The Man in Black.

So many great long plays on the DM lately. I just wanted to let people know that there are certain add-on/extensions for your browser which will let you download the content for watching later. I am using YouTube Downloader 11.0 for Chrome. I am sure there is something for the Mozilla fans.

Vimeo seems to let you download if you have an account. No luck for Google Video just yet.

There are FireFox extensions to DL YouTube and the like. Simple search on the extensions web site will offer lots of options. And you’re right, DvD, if you can’t watch this right away, saving for later is a must. You do not want to miss this documentary.

Fantastic post Paul, thank you so much.
