Tara just asked me, “Who is Paul Crik?

I told her that she’d “find out” and so will you. Then you, too, will be killin’ it.

this guy is too smug to be endearing or humorous. If you wish to laugh wholeheartedly at self-help aphorisms or religious zealotry may I suggest a repeated viewing of Tarvu or maybe old videos of Dr. Gene Scott. And if clever wordplay is your thing then perhaps revisit the linguistic styling of Steven Wright. The tuxedo shirt is ind of funny though.

have to disagree with you bob. paul crik seems to be doing something different here and it’s oddly refreshing. i don’t think it’s just about being endearing or humorous either, ya know.  who wants to just be that nowadays? some smugness is there, sure, but in a healthy confident sort of way (IMO), and killin’ it clearly isn’t only a joke. check out a few more of the vids and you’ll see. btw, dr. gene scott, also good, but of a different time and energy altogether.

After ingesting a small amount of psilocybin you too will be killing it.
With repeated usage you too will conceive your own personal philosophy.

Been killin it for years, just enjoy my anonymity

@sammy

I apparently was not killin’ it when I left my previous comment. I took a little time and perused his site. I think he might grow on me with more viewings. But those who say they are killin’ it are not killin’ it and those who say that those who are killin’ it are not killin’ it are not killin’ it. So I ask you who is killin’ it?

I would love to love Paulie Boy and Killin’ It!  But it is just so dull, dated, and lacks, well, material.  In the mid nineties we used to all scream “killin’ it” on the ski hills and mountain bike slopes.  Paulie Boy is still saying it.  The hair, the outfits- everything is so dated.  Nothing wrong with being dated.  It just makes me yawn. And then his messages…. Well, we all have seen the videos.  More yawns…
On the other hand, I checked out GOATSILK.  Now that is a hot organization!  Kudos to them.

Wow!  First of all I’m thrilled that “Killin’ It with Paul Crik” was worthy of a post at dangerousminds! Very cool!  Second, I’m excited to see some of these comments, both the good and the bad.  In particular I was struck by Bob’s observation that “those who say they are killin’ it are not killin’ it…”  This is a great and totally legitimate point to make; it’s one that I’ve wrestled with as a motivator and entertainer of human beings.  So after reading this I took a few moments to write down my thoughts on this very real issue.  If anyone’s interested you can read at:

This dude really needs to hook up with Andrew W.K. - they could easily cause a singularity of wacky positivity that would explode heads.
