this is all fine and good, but so far you’re missing the elephant in the room: democrats woefully failed their ONLY real, popular constituency, hard-working people of all ages! by fucking up and dropping the public option for health care two days ago. if the public option isn’t included, then this might actually become the worst bill possible, totally beneficial to insurance companies. but thats the way things go when “our” party is full of spineless idiots who can’t even muster the courage to say “no” to marginalized rightists. is 60 seats not enough??? are we going to have to give these clowns 90 seats just to get something meaningful passed? i want to see a post about THAT.
