The problem with [EDIT] is that, no matter why you mention it, [EDIT]‘s power remains directly proportional to how often people see his name.
Ok, I’ll try devil’s advocate here and since I’ve never seen his films maybe that’ll make it easy. From the trailer it seems over-the-top and possibly Sawesque in its gratuity. However, given the lack of understanding of the Holocaust and perhaps a generational forgetfulness/ignorance especially amongst younger viewers, maybe this will help expose what happened to those who would otherwise go through life without much knowledge on the subject.

My friend has forwarded me several emails from Uwe Boll. He seems to truly believe he is creating work of some worth. No matter how cack it seems to us, to him he’s making art and he talks quite passionately about it.
Compare to somebody like Michael Bay who knows full well that he’s a hack who’s pandering to the jingoists with Reagan era throwback movies.
