Watching the video for Bob Dylan’s “Must Be Santa” from his new “Christmas In the Heart” album, I must confess that my first reaction was “Who let the weird old guy into the party?”
I didn’t really have a second reaction to it…

“This video contains content from Vevo, who has decided to block it in your country.”
Merry Xmas, indeed.

Yes you can find it unblocked on Youtube - just search. This one comes through loud ‘n’ clear here in Australia.
But… um… maybe for all our sakes it’s better blocked… from everybody…
Dylan’s version is a direct lift (meaning arrangement and everything) of Brave Combo’s version. The rundown of the presidents’ names is their invention and they’ve been performing it for years at their Xmas shows. Clever today, but still borrowed to put it politely. You can find it (as Bob likely did) on youtube by searching for Brave Combo, Must Be Santa.
thanks for the info ament, but can’t it just be considered a normal cover without your “lift” and “borrowed” prefaces?
no need to feel polite
