I was just wonering why there were two bald guys dressed as Jedward on stage. Is this some sort of Skandawegian thing?

Ooooh she’s so avant-garde! Pushing the boundaries of what an audience expects of artists man! Or, just a lame-ass publicity stunt.
Seriously, this is an awards show. Either her peers or her fans have taken the time and consideration to vote for her to accept an award and hopefully be thankful for it.
This is artistic narcissism of the highest degree i.e to cover you face in a desperate attempt at challenging the status quo. Which calls into question of why she even attended the awards ceremony in the first place?

On the Extreme Noise Terror vs. KLF at the Brits scale—I give this a 4/10.

Yokel, she’s been doing this for a long time and a lot of her appearances ar either in character (AS FEVER RAY) or a political statement . Stop wearing your ass as a hat. You clearly don’t know anything about her.

Steph, if I wore my ass as a hat you would probably mistake it for a work of art, or a ‘political statement’.

Of course Karin Dreijer is a master visual/musical/performance artist. Love Lady Gaga too, but I have to hand it KD. She gives Bjork a run for her money too.

I agree with Steph’s comment because you need to look back in order to understand where Karin’s heart is at! Her and her brother from the Knife have done some incredible things to shake up what people see & hear. I will always do my research to find out more about her and try my best to spread her infectious sounds from all of the bands she’s involved in.

Though I actually don’t attach her to Lady Gaga at all. Lady Gaga is a separate entity with her own decorative passion…I have seen her cover her face but never change it to look alien.
