A voyeuristic and mesmerizing tribute to key Fluxus player and muse to Nam June Paik and Joseph Beuys, the experimental cellist Charlotte Moorman. Listen to personal phone messages to Moorman from the likes of John and Yoko, John Cage, Paik and others and drink in that good old-timey analog tape phone machine atmosphere.

Hello, this is a very close friend of Charlotte and Frank, my husband Jules was Franks best friend even before He married Charlotte as a matter of Fact Jules and I were at their wedding at city hall in manhatten. I found the answering machine tape on line when it first was put on line and I listened to the whole thing which I believe was almost 30 minutes of answering machine messages in which Jules was on there 2 times and myself once leaving messages. I did save the original recording when I first came across it. Jules passed away back in 1980 shortly after Charlotte got cancer, also from cancer. when I came across this answering machine my husband had been dead about 25 years so you can imagine the shock to hear my husband on that tape twice and me once along with John cage and Yoko and John lennon..and Nam June Paik whom I also met all these famous artists. I called my kids to tell them I found the Tape on line and then my son edited the tape to capture John Lennon and Yoko and there father twice and me once so I also now have my own edited short version plus the original. We spent many thanksgivings at Franks house with charlotte. Charlotte always sent us post cards from where ever they traveled and cut out of chistmas paper she would cut out a heart shaped from that paper and send merry christmas’s to us.They were truely the most wonderful and very dear friends of ours. When Charlotts passed aways Frank came down to florida and I got to see him after all the years he had carried her up and down that loft apt. 5 floors up and just caring for her. he was thinking of coming to live in florida but when he went back after the visit here, I got a call from his sister Connie that Frank had passed away..I was truely devistated having now lost both of them and my husband….I will forever miss them they were wonderful friends.I am happy I saved that answering machine original recording to have and hold forever…
