it’s soooo odd that you posted this. Yesterday , flying from Austin to NY, i don’t know why but, I thought “whatever happened to Claudine Longet? and I was thinking about “The Party” and went though the TV shows she used to be on.. Strange coincidence.

Western juries have a certain sympathy for homicides of the heart, and women usually don’t get long sentences for it, even when convicted. I seem to recall her defense being: ” I was cleaning it, and it just went off”.
